The Forms of Human Existence

The Forms of Human Existence, a publication devoted to the work of György Verebes, was published by the Damjanich János Museum in 2025 as part of the Contemporary Szolnok series.

Edited by art historian Ágnes Képiró, the volume accompanies the artist’s major jubilee exhibition of the same title and offers an overview of his oeuvre through reproductions, essays and an extensive interview with the artist.

The publication brings together key works and reflections on the central themes of Verebes’s painting: the human figure, corporeality, presence and the existential dimensions of the body.
